She stepped outside into the backyard after hearing a buzz, believing it had to do with her pool.She was getting set to take a shower when she noticed a drone hovering outside her bathroom window. 

When she got close to the machine, it moved quickly, struck a branch of a tree, and fell to the ground, according to authorities. Before she took off, "she quickly grabbed the drone and dunked it in her pool to disable it and called the police to report that the drone was looking through her bathroom window," according to what they stated. Investigators assert that they located Jones, a convicted sex offender, as the drone's owner.

Since his need expired in 2015, he has not had to register, according to the police. Jones allegedly acknowledged using the drone.Jones' mother identified herself to KATV when they visited her home on Midland Drive. She said that she was unaware that he owned a drone. She stated the accused victim was "probably upset," but she didn't want to discuss the situation.
