A few blocks from his home in the Childs Park neighbourhood, Creary attempted to drive his son to the hospital but lost control of the car and crashed, according to police. Creary was accused of violating his probation as well as the offence of aggravated child murder. According to Pinellas court records, Creary was under probation for the felony crime of trafficking in stolen goods.
