A 55-year-old man from Michigan apparently showed no remorse after shooting his ex outside her job just one week after she obtained a personal protection order against him.Barry Garza is accused of killing Amber Jo Thomas, 40, and injuring a 67-year-old male acquaintance after driving to the Linden Square Assisted Living facility where Thomas worked and opening fire in broad daylight nearby — in the "parking lot of the former UAW Hall" — while the victim was on a break.According to the Saline Police Department, the "active shooter" incident occurred last Thursday, Aug. 3, about 11:35 a.m., in the 600 block of Woodland Dr. in Saline.

Garza allegedly fled the area in a tan Ford Focus before collapsing.
