Sabio stated that when she did, the Lexus's driver shifted to the left side of the road. She again shifted lanes to allow the Lexus to pass her, but the Lexus's driver stuck with her. Then Sabio heard three gunshots. Later, Houston police reported that Sabio's daughter had suffered injuries to her thigh and leg. She shouted, "Mommy!" Sabio remembered what Luna said. She then began to cry.

I then said, "What happened, Mom?" What happened, mum? You are OK. You're fine," She continues, "Mommy, it hurts." I then pulled over and got out of my car. Sabio's car's side had bullet holes, as seen on video. As onlookers rushed to aid, one of them covered Luna's bleeding leg with a T-shirt, she got out of her car. "She was crazy, all these people trying to help," Sabio told the site.

When Luna was taken to the hospital, her health was noted as stable. The girl was released on Tuesday, according to KHOU. According to ABC 13, Houston police reported the driver of the black Lexus allegedly left the scene by driving away. The number plate number was nevertheless captured on camera, which might support the inquiry.

For my daughter to experience this because a crazy person decided to shoot a gun and shot anybody she wants, I find it to be unbearable. She is insane," Sabio said to ABC 13. Anyone with information regarding the event is asked to call either Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS or the Major Assault and Family Violence Division of the Houston Police Department at 713-308-8800.
