Ryan Koss,was accused in the June motorbike crash that claimed the life of actor Treat Williams, according to information released by Vermont state police on Tuesday. Koss, a resident of Vermont, was charged only with "grossly negligent operation resulting in death," according to the authorities. On June 12, Williams passed away.

Koss was driving his 2008 Honda Element SUV when he attempted to turn left from a parking lot in Vermont onto Route 30, according to fresh information gleaned from an ongoing police investigation into the collision. Koss used his signal to indicate the move, but then moved into Williams' path as he approached. On a 1986 Honda VT700c motorcycle, Williams was traveling. Koss and Williams allegedly collided because Williams was unable to dodge him.
