The mother of a man accused of murder in the Florida Panhandle allegedly discussed plans to shoot a Home Depot employee in text messages that were found by police. She is currently also detained. Keith Agee, 20, was apprehended by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office on Friday in the late afternoon in relation to the fatal shooting of Brooklyn Sims, 18, earlier that day at the home improvement store on Davis Highway in Pensacola.

In Mobile, Alabama, Keith, 20, had been held in custody on three third-degree domestic violence offenses. He was also charged with third-degree domestic violence in Mobile on April 14, 2022. Each lawsuit was thrown out, according to Fox News. The sheriff's office revealed Monday night that Keith Agee's mother, Sheila, was involved in planning the deliberate attack. 50 is Sheila's age.

According to text conversations, it is evident that Sheila Agee, Keith Agee's mother, was aware of and involved in the plot to murder Brooklyn Sims, the ECSO stated on Facebook. In addition, texts between a mother and son show the mother's assistance in finding the victim.The department claims that the mother and son communicated via the claimed texts just before Sims was shot and died. The texts were published by the department on its Facebook page.

Keith was charged with homicide, while Sheila has been charged with principle to first-degree premeditated murder. In a statement posted on Facebook, sheriff Chip Simmons said, "The murder itself is unbelievable, but to know the mother knew about it and helped coordinate it is incomprehensible."

The harsh language-filled discussion between the two was made public by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office. Sheila warned Keith not to inform "nanny" in a text message prior to the crime because she would "try and talk you out of it." When asked what he will do, Keith replies, "Just say I gotta go to the dentist."

In order to avoid having to carry out the murder in front of her daughter, Sheila then promises to send him the target's address. In a later text, she states, "Hold up let me get it erase the texts because I don't want anybody to know I was texting you stupid ass."Do anything you want to do, she instructs her son in one of her last texts to him that day. It doesn't bother me in the least.
