December 20, 2022 - Meeting Summary
The San Diego S-Gaugers held the December club meeting at our clubhouse. Attendees were: Mike Forys, Ken Sadlock, Robert Graves, Scott Lewis, Wes Noel, Raulf Polichar, Dale Minard, Don Briggs, Alex Sibbald, and Les Smith.
Introduction of New Faces / Show and Tell:
Ken Sadlock donated a bottle of smoke fluid and a connector extractor that he found, Scott Lewis displayed a "G" scale Thomas that he installed a chip in and a sight glass for steam engine operation.
Doug Peck’s website now accepts credit cards.
Treasurer's Report:
The club received visitor cash donations totaling $380.71 in November, which is above average in history for that month. $22.09 of these donations came from our Venmo Account.
Standards Report:
Raulf Polichar has been documenting the Fulgurex switch motor installation. It is the standard switch motor for our main layout.

"S" gauge product catalogs are being collected for historical reference.
Website Update:
Bob Graves added a VENMO button to the website for visitor donations. Current events were added to the site.

Window Layout Success and Visitor Attendance:
From 10/15/2022 to 11/19/2022 the Window Layout Button 1 has been pushed 2,202 times and Window Layout Button 2 has been pushed 1,787 times for a total of 3989 times, or 251,923 times since Feb 2016 when we first installed one at Grossmont Center and 291,481 times since day one at Liberty station.

Club Mural:
The Mural barn door has a fresh coat of black paint along the bottom edge.
Schedule:
Mike Forys is looking for members to sign up for next month for the usual Tuesday and Saturday hours and also extra people for the two open houses.
Window Layouts:
Liberty Loop is now completed on the crossover side.
New Business:
Lego Day:
The Lego Build Day on December 17, 2022 saw 277 visitors enter the clubhouse.
Future events:
The next meetings will be on Tuesdays, January 17, 2023 and February 21, 2023 and will be held at our clubhouse and on Zoom.
15th club anniversary next January will be celebrated on two Saturday’s. 14th as the NMRA PSR San Diego Region layout tour and the 21st for the general public. Need ideas for activities on the 21st.
NMRA status:
Paperwork for NMRA 100 percent club and Liability insurance was submitted and accepted.
Work Schedule:
Members were asked to sign up for work day on January 11,2023 starting at 10:00 am to prepare for the open house.

Next month’s meeting: 2023 Officer Nominations and elections.
2023 member dues are due in January.
