Our Clubhouse at Grossmont Center for the 2014 Holidays
This was our Grossmont Center home over the 2014 holidays, from November to January.
The big modular layout was set up and dressed out in holiday regalia.
We set up the Liberty Loop window layout in the left side window.
The right side window held a new layout with a winter scene and operating Christmas train.
Dale unveiled his new Military Aircraft Museum modules.
Along the wall, we had a display of engines and cars with a short explanation of each.
And an appropriately decorated table with model railroading literature and information handouts.
And, of course, a train running around a Christmas tree.
While we were preparing for our opening, the window layouts were running and a sign announced the opening date and our operating schedule.
It was a big hit with kids of all ages!
