Publicity Report:

The effort put in by Dale Minard to publicize our stay at Grossmont Center has really paid off. Many visitors have told us that they heard of our display from the publications and media that were sent information by Dale.

Old Business:

Future Clubhouse Status:

Bob Graves and Mike Forys are pursuing several shopping centers in Del Mar, which appear to have vacancies. An invitation has been extended to the management to visit our operation at Grossmont Center. Our stay at Grossmont Center has been extended until January 10 thanks to the efforts of Mike Forys. We will use this extra time to repair the portable layout and get it ready for the Great Train Expo Show in February.

SDSG Website:

Mike Forys has requested that the Grossmont Center photos be moved off the front page to a section created for Grossmont Center.

New Clinics:

This topic has been temporarily shelved due to the demands of our current involvement at Grossmont Center.

New Business:

Future events:

The January 17th meeting will be held at the home of Al Keil at 2:00 PM when we will elect officers and collect annual dues.

Grossmont Center:

The SDSG club has been well received by the public and the management at Grossmont Center has done a fine job publicizing our visit and delivering visitors via a center “train” that runs right past our storefront.

The Great Train Expo:

The Great Train Expo has scheduled a show in Del Mar on the 14th and 15th of February. Mike Forys presented a diagram of the portable layout that we will be setting up for this event.

NMRA Data:

Mike Forys has asked that members who have paid their NMRA dues since July 2014 submit their data to him so that he can update our records for 100% member participation.

New 1023-EZ IRS Form:

Bob Graves presented a new, 3 page, streamlined IRS form that is submitted online for companies seeking 501(C)(3) tax-exempt status.
