July 20, 2021 - Meeting Summary

The San Diego S-Gaugers held the July club meeting at our clubhouse and on Zoom at 10:00AM. Attendees were: Mike Forys, Ken Sadlock, Robert Graves, Les Smith, Raulf Polichar, Dale Minard, Don Briggs, Scott Lewis, Wes Noel, Len Carapezza and Alex Sibbald.

Introduction of new faces / Show and Tell:

Ken Sadlock displayed a framed description of the Montparnasse Derailment to accompany the photo on our wall display. Dale Minard brought in a "Green Acres" modular diorama that he finished. It depicts a tractor supply style exhibit that you would see in a small town during the 1950's. It has extensive lighting and many fine details. He also brought in some inexpensive, painted metal, 1/64th inch figures that he found on EBAY.

Treasurer's Report:

This month Bob Graves reported $326.68 from clubhouse visitor donations in June.

Standards Report:

Raulf Polichar reported that repairs and upgrades occupied his time this month. The remote window buttons have been problematic as well. His next project is to repair the turnout on the DCC siding.
