Train Show and Convention Participation

Every year from its founding in 2008 to 2015, the club participated in one or more train shows and/or conventions annually. Sadly, 2015 was the last train show held in San Diego. Rising costs and declining attendance made the shows unprofitable.

World's Greatest Hobby Train Show

World's Greatest Hobby is a national traveling model railroading show held annually in cities throughout the United States. It is held during February every five years at the Del Mar Fairgrounds just north of San Diego, California. Since our club wasn't founded until January, 2008, we had no layout to display that year; our first year was 2013, and we plan to be at every future show.
