Grossmont Center:

The SDSG club has been invited to set up our layouts in a storefront at Grossmont Center in La Mesa for 7 weekends from November to the end of December. The layout will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon until 7PM. The club will setup two window layouts as well as most of our modular layout.

A preliminary schedule of setup times and train running schedule was passed around so that members could see the commitment required for this activity. Les Smith suggested maybe getting the Boy Scouts or similar group to help with the running of the trains.

The Great Train Expo has scheduled a show in Del Mar on the 14th and 15th of February. The club voted to attend.

Mike Forys and Raulf Polichar met with Anthony from the San Diego Model Railroad Museum to investigate the possibility of piggybacking into the SDMRM 501C3 status. They determined that the situation is not feasible. Mike Forys and Dale Minard have crafted a single page flyer describing the clubhouse that we desire.
