YouTubeは2020年12月9日にアメリカ大統領選挙の完全性をサポートすることに関する内容をブログに公開しました。

簡単に言うと、大統領選挙に関する不正な動画の削除を今後も続けるという内容です。
YouTubeは選挙動画の何を削除するのか
2020年のアメリカ大統領選挙では、2020年12月8日が「セーフハーバー期限（Safe Harbor deadline ）」でした。Safe Harborは直訳すると安全な港で、嵐などに備えて船が待避する港のことですが、アメリカの大統領選挙では、各州の選挙結果が確定される日です。
なお、ここで確定された選挙人が投票するのが2020年12月14日、開票は2021年1月6日。大統領就任式は2021年1月20日です。
このセーフハーバー期限に合わせて、YouTubeが過去の選挙でのアプローチと同様に、不正な情報に関する動画を削除するとしています。
YouTubeが例としてあげているのが
「広範囲にわたるソフトウェアの不具合やカウントエラーが原因で大統領候補が選挙に勝ったと主張する動画（Presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors.）」
ような内容で「選挙に不正があった。不正は○○が原因だ」というような内容の陰謀論のような内容の動画を削除するという意味です。
「十分な教育、ドキュメンタリー、科学的または芸術的な文脈があれば、これらの問題に関するニュース報道と解説は私たちのサイトに残ることができます。（news coverage and commentary on these issues can remain on our site if there’s sufficient education, documentary, scientific or artistic context.）」
としており、単純に大統領選挙に関する動画が削除されるのではありません。
動画が削除されるとどうなるか
2021年1月8日（日本時間）付けで、この問題で削除された場合はチャンネルに違反警告がつくようになります。

このブログの中でも

としており、正しい情報については問題ないが、陰謀論等の誤った情報を広めるプラットフォームとして利用されないように常に対処されています。
