PB4L School-Wide is a long-term, whole-school approach to help schools develop their own social culture that supports learning and positive behaviour. The framework is evidence based. It provides us with a process for considering both learning and behaviour across the whole school, and student by student.
On the 9th of March we, the Ōtaki College Evolocity team attended the 2022 Evolocity launch and design workshop in Lower Hutt. Evolocity is a charitable organisation educating kiwis on the environmental and economic benefits of electric vehicles while growing youth interest in technology and engineering.
On Wednesday March 9 the student Hauora and Environment Council organised a non uniform day. The students were wanting to support whānau who were isolating at home due to omicron. The day was well supported by students and staff and Matua Andy was able to take the kai items down to Raukawa marae. The kai was then distributed by Te Puna Oranga o Ōtaki to whānau in isolation.

OUTWARD BOUND NZ - YOUTH ACTIVATE
The fully funded Youth Activate is an 8 day course for physically disabled youth aged 16-17 years. Our next course date is 10–17 May 2022.
OUTWARD BOUND NZ - LEAPS & BOUNDS ACTIVATE
The fully funded Leaps & Bounds Activate 8 day course is for physically disabled youth (13 to 16yrs) and their parent or caregiver. Our next course date is 10-17 October 2022.
