Japan Trivia Quiz Night

The NZ Asoociation of Japanese Language Teachers' annual Japan Trivia Quiz night was held on the evening of Friday 13th June 2025 at IPU (International Pacific University) in Aokautere near Palmerston North. 

Otaki College entered two teams in a field of 14. Our teams came 6th equal overall which was a good result. Once again we won the Best Costume award for the evening. 

Team One names; Aimee Heenan, Izabella Hazelton, Braeden Butters.

Team Two (costume prize winners) names: Elizabeth Turu, Kyuss Carson, Kareariki Rawiri.

A really enjoyable evening was had by all. Many thanks to the NZ AAssoc of Japanese Language teachers for organising this competition, and for purchasing amazing authentic Japanese snacks for our students to share in their teams.
