Basketball - College Sport Wellington 

Congratulations to our Senior Tama Tuakana Team who won the Senior Division 2 competition in the College Sport Wellington League.   Huge thanks to Matua T, Coach Atu, Coach Nikora, Whaea Katera and  Lydia, for all of the mahi you put into our basketball program.  Also to Whaea Kahu and all the students who have supported these teams with reffing and mentoring this season, outstanding. 

Football - Junior Boys, Senior Boys and Girls 

Some great results for our football teams again this season.  Thank you to Coach Kerry, Caleb, Joseph, Kerrin and Paula for coaching and mentoring the boy's teams and to Carrie and Marty for getting the mahi done with the girls. 

Kāpiti Inter-school Winter Tournament - Year 7 and 8s

A group of enthusiastic year 7 and 8’s attended this tournament earlier in the term.  Students played football, netball, and rippa.  All teams performed well with the rippa team taking out their grade. A great time was had by all.  Thanks to Sam, Gerrad, Kim, Whaea Jude, Megan and Ms Ohlson for supporting these teams. 

Netball

Our OC Kohatu Team attended Winter Tournament in the Hawkes Bay. This young team played well and enjoyed the experience.  A huge amount of work has been put into getting this team to the tournament.  Special thanks to Coach Kim C for spearheading the fundraising efforts, coaching and traveling with the team, and to Lauren who managed the team at Lower Norths.  

Congratulations to our OC Tui Year 9 and 10 Netball Team and Coach Nikki,  who won their Netball Kāpiti Grade. 

Aims Games

Congratulations to Bailey-Rose Johns who won a bronze medal in Year 8 Girls Mixed Team Relay - Canoe Racing.

Ōtaki College Gym - 3.30 to 4.30pm, Thursday  - everyone welcome.  If you want to play you MUST have gym shoes - NO Croc/sandals 

Planning for 2025

We are now planning for sport in 2025 - we are always in need of coaches, managers, and helpers  - please get in contact if you are able to help - the more helpers we have the more opportunities for our students to participate.
