Our Annual Pink Shirt Day on Friday May 16 was a positive event. Lead in activities included a student led assembly prompting messages of kindness and inclusion. There were also video clips created by the Ngā Ringa Whero team and class activities led by staff.
There was amazing 'buy in' from students and staff dressing in pink and a range of lunchtime events to celebrate positive messages aimed at reducing bullying behaviours.
ZEAL provided a sound stage, we shared kai, played outdoor games and created a human heart. Much appreciation to all students and staff who contributed to this amazing day.
As a result of the day we were able to give $500 to the Mental Health Foundation.
