Special Olympics

Our Te Puna Aroha - Learning Support students recently hosted our first interschool athletics event, run by Steve, from the Special Olympics.  

Students from Paraparaumu and Kāpiti Colleges joined us for a morning of vortex, javelin, hurdles, track events and foxtail ball.

We all had a fantastic time, learning new skills, meeting new friends and trying new experiences.

We would like to thank Sam and the Manukura team for supporting this event too.
