Science Roadshow

We packed up in class and walked over to the hall, waited in line until we could go in.  As we were waiting there was  a lady named Stephanie.  She told us to go in and sit down.  We waited till everyone stopped.  Mary began talking to us about Science, it was very cool.  Our favourite was when she made a fire tornado with a trash can.  

She told us that anyone can do science we just need to ask the questions and be curious as to “why” things happen.

When she was finished we were allowed to go and explore at all the stations that they had placed about.  Helpful yr 10’s gave us a hand on the really tricky science tasks.  There was honey types, spinning curtains, air guns, smelling stations and many more.  The bell rang for Hauora and we left the hall saying Thank You.  What a neat Science Roadshow.  I can’t wait until they come next year.
