Shave for a Cure

We ran a very positive Shave For A cure event on Friday May 30.  $4,347 was raised for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer NZ. 18 students and 2 staff shaved their heads to support this important cause.

We appreciated Aroha's Way She Fades Barber Shop providing us with the services of Ricki Baker (junior) and to ZEAL for their ongoing support of our fundraising events.

There was excellent student support in the set up of the event and in the crowd supporting our shavees. Many thanks to all in our community who sponsored our students and staff.

It is great to see this event back on our school calendar.
