We celebrated our 10th year of Pink Shirt Day on Friday 17 May. The focus this year was on being an Upstander and displaying Awhinatia- supporting people who are being bullied. This includes - letting the person being bullied know you have their back, encouraging them to ask a trusted person for help, using words to show aroha and kindness.

Our Pink Shirt day included class competitions, sausage sizzle and bake sale, a colouring competition and making a human love heart.  The involvement from students was awesome.  The best dressed class was 7/8 MNL. We had a lunchtime kai sale and ZEAL joined us with their sound stage. It was great to see students have the courage to perform in front of the school.

There was a festive atmosphere as we enjoyed the sunshine, played games and listened to music together.

We raised $500 to support the work of the Mental Health Foundation.
