On Friday, some Science classes got the chance to begin to learn how to make use of some new software available in the science and technology departments.
Jack Penman spent the day working with Chemistry and Science students learning the basics of circuits and connectivity to control LED’s. These are the first steps towards making a pH and heat probes and electronically controlling hand models.
With more sessions in term 3, it is planned that students will be able to develop soil probes and other measurement and control devices for use in a wide range of areas such as, senior chemistry and horticulture.
