Rainbow Diversity Day

We recently participated in National Schools Pride Week celebrating diversity. Following on from an assembly presentation we had a  Rainbow Day event last Friday. Students dressed up and we had a sausage sizzle, bake sale and activities in the quad.

The national organisation Inside Out have been supporting us over the last few years with staff Professional Development and this year we have established a Rainbow Support group for students. This group is supported by staff and provides a safe place for students to meet, spend time together and discuss issues. Money raised from last Friday's event will be given to Inside Out to support the positive awareness raising campaigns they provide.
