2022 Year 9&10 Prizegiving

Our Year 9&10 Prizegiving was held on the morning of 9 December.  We celebrated the academic, sporting, cultural and service contributions of students and celebrated their successes.

The Ōtaki Jubilee Scholarship and Cup for outstanding involvement in college activities and encouraging others to participate, was awarded by the XŌtaki Alumni Trust.  This award, which is given to two students, recognises the recipients for their ability to consistently live our motto of Kia Kaha. The 2022 Scholarship went to Harriet Georgetti and Mareikura Kaka.

The Home and School Association Cup for Top Scholar in Year 9 was awarded to Mana Toimata and in Year 10 the Top Scholar Cup was jointly awarded to Harriet Georgetti and Yilin Lyu.

Congratulations to all of our prizewinners.

Particular thanks to Watson's Gardens, who provided the plants which made our hall look particularly celebratory.  Thanks also to those whānau who were able to attend, and to those who watched via our livestream link.
