Airplane engine mechanic with 431st Fighter Squad, 457th Squadron. He was involved in the campaigns in the Bismarck - Archipelago, New Guinea, and the Southern Philippines. He was awarded the Asiatic- Pacific Service Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.
