Paul Klimek (Yaphank)

Paul Klimek was born on December 25, 1901 at Bremmen, Germany. He was the son of Anna and Paul Klimek. Before entering the service, Klimek operated his own painting and decorating business. He was inducted into the United States Army Air Corps on August 26, 1942 at Patchogue, New York. Klimek would serve for 17 months when he was discharged on March 11, 1943 at Truax Field, Wisconsin.
