Arthur Erland

Arthur Erland was born in 1919. Before entering the service he was employed as a farmer and was living in Middle Island. He entered the Army on November 11, 1942 and was assigned to the 2263rd Quartermaster Truck Company, the AVN 37th Air Depot Group and Squadron F 610 Army Air Force Base Unit. He was awarded a World War II Victory Medal, and a World War II Lapel Service Button. Erland was discharged from the service on October 17, 1945 from Elgin Field, Florida.
