Middle Island, L. I, December 26-The Rev. A. W. Hallock, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of this place, died on Sunday morning, after an illness of several weeks, of gastritis. He was 42 years of age and leaves a widow and two sons aged 7 and 9 years. He had been connected with this church but three months, but in that time had made a favorable impression, and his congregation looked for the most happy pastorate in its history. The funeral services were held at the personage Christmas Eve and the remains were taken to Northville, L. I, where further services and interment took place this afternoon.
