Leslie Risley

Lesley Risley was born on September 18, 1890. He was the son of Joseph and Ella Risley. Before enlisting in the service he was working as a machinist for Handy and Hammond at Fairfield Connecticut. At the time of induction Risley listed his address as Coram, New York. He was inducted into the Army on September 5, 1918 at Bayshore, New York. He was assigned to Battery F, 1st regiment Field Artillery until December 12, 1918. He would serve out the rest of his duty with Battery A of the 60th Field Artillery until his discharge on February 13, 1919.
