Harry Bonk

Harry Bonk was born on April 16, 1926 at Coram, New York. He was the son of Paul and Louise (Kalenewz) Bonk. Before entering the service Bonk listed his occupation as that of a student. Harry enlisted in the Navy on March1, 1944, at Hanover, New Hampshire. Bonk listed his address as Coram, New York at the time of enlistment. He trained as a Naval Aviation Cadet, and received a Good Conduct Medal. Bonk did not see overseas duty and was discharged from the service on September 18,1945 at Shelton, Virginia.
