OVERTON CEMETERY

This is a small cemetery located about 200 ft. west of DAVID-OVERTON ROAD and about 750 ft. south of MILL ROAD in CORAM. Only two stones were found. In 1970. The plot was completly grown over with briers.

1. NEHEMIAH OVERTON d. Feb. 20,1831 age 71 years 9mo. 6 days. (Overton Gen. says he died in 1832)

2. Small stone which could not.be read. It was probably the stone listed next which was listed by Osborne Shaw.

SUSAN F. OVERTON d. Sept. 130830 age 1 mo. Note: She was daughter of JOHN BUNYAN & SUSAN F.(RULAND) OVERTON. Ref. "OVERTON GEN. Pg. 41 #52.

3. PUAH OVERTON, wife of NEHEMIAH OVERTON, d. Dec. 29,1844 age 79 years. Note; There was no stone for her but ALVIN SMITH states in the OVERTON GEN. that she was buried there. She was daughter of DANIEL & HANNAH (CLARK) SWEZEY.
