Salvatore J. Mirando



Mirando, Salvatore J. was born in the year 1909 in New York. Before entering the service he was employed as a plumber in New York. Mirando enlisted into the Army of the United States on April 14, 1941, and was sent to Camp Upton in New York. At the time of his induction he was living in Coram. Salvatore J. Mirando served with the CO. C 8th Med. Battalion. He was awarded the World War II Lapel Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Salvatore J. Mirando was discharged from the service on October 1, 1943 at Camp Forrest, Tennessee.
