Clifford Erland was born in 1923. Erland entered the Army on February 10, 1943 and was assigned to Company A of the 17th Infantry Training Battalion. He was discharged from the service on September 2, 1943 at Camp Wheeler, Georgia. Erland was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, and a Honorable Service Lapel Button.
