John Farrington

John Farrington was born on August 22, 1907. He was the son of William and Mary (Mullhull) Farrington. Before entering the service he was employed by South Shore as a crane operator. He was inducted into the Army on December 11, 9142 and entered the service at Camp Upton on December 18, 1942. He was living in Ridge, New York at the time of induction. Farrington was assigned to Head Quarters Company of the 556 Heavy Pontoon Engineers Battalion, where he was trained as a Power Shovel Operator.

Farrington was discharged from the service on October 11, 1945 at Fort MacArthur, California.
