The Ridge Civic association elected its officers Saturday evening at a meeting of the Ridge school, as follows: Mrs. Wm. McFarland, president; Frank Maurino, vice- president; Mrs. Charles Owens, secretary; Jason Randal, treasurer; Frank Mooney, sergeant - - arms; Mrs. William Dunn, Mrs. H.C. Baker, Mrs. Dan Keeney and Thomas Johnson, directors.
Some discussion followed a proposal to take into membership only American citizens and those who have obtained their first citizenship papers, a motion for this rule being carried with only four dissenting votes of the 43 present.
Jason Randall was appointed a committee to see Dr. Smith about the possibility of securing a lot fronting on Route 25 for a house site
A preliminary survey indicates a charter membership in excess of 100.
William Dunn, school district trustee announced that a number of repairs and alterations were to be made to the school.
