Dorothy Sieber,

Dorothy Sieber was born on May 29, 1918 in New York, New York. She was the daughter of Otto and Irene Sieber. Prior to her enlistment on August 25, 1943, Ms. Sieber was employed as a secretary. She was awarded the World War II Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, WAAC Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Campaign Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Overseas Service Bars. During her tour of duty she achieved the rank of Technician 4th Grade before being honorably discharged on December 2, 1945 at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. Ms. Sieber passed away June 17, 1973 in New York, New York.
