Frederick Ruppert was born in 1907. He enlisted in the Army on December 11, 1942 at Coram, New York. As a private he served with the 1849th S U detachment HQ at Camp Swift Texas. Ruppert was discharged from the service on July 23, 1943 from Camp Swift, Texas. He was awarded a World War II Victory Medal and a World war II service Lapel Button.
