ALBERT BAYLES' CHICKEN COOPS

Building chicken coops and raising chickens has become a popular hobby in our area lately. For over 200 years it was a necessity for farmers in our area.

The Bayles house was located on Middle Country Road and is now the site of the City on a Hill Community Church. These pictures were taken by 19 year old Albert Bayles, with his glass plate camera.

Albert's glass plate collection is housed at the Longwood Public Library.
