William Rensch

William Rensch was born on October 16, 1916. He was the son of Lillian (Hess) and Louis Rensch . He was living in Yaphank when he was inducted into the Army on April 14, 1942 at Fort jay on Governors Island, New York. Rensch was assigned to the 517th Field Artillery, Battery F. While training he broke his leg, the injury led to him being discharged from the Army on January 12, 1945 from the Borden General Hospital at Chickasha, Oklahoma.
