ALDRICH FAMILY CEMETERY

It is located about 50 ft. north of Middle Country Road (Rt. 25) and about 50 yards west of the Lustgarden Greenhouse. It is almost due north of LILCO pose #677. Two stones are in tact but broken off the base and laying in a. large bush. Pieces of a third stone were found and brought to my home to clean and piece together, The stones were first copied on 5 Aug. 1962 and again in Aug. 1973, by Elbert N.Carter.


1. Mrs. IRMEL COX, consort of MR. JOHN R. COX, d. 16 Feb. 1818.

Note: She was probably daughter of THOMAS & IRENE (RAYNOR) ALDRICH*

2. THOMAS ALDRICH d. 11 May 1812 age 26 Years. Note: He was probably son of THOMAS & IRENE (RAYNOR) ALDRICH.

3. THOMAS AID -d.Feb. Note: The pieces are as shown below. He certainly was the THOMAS ALDRICH of BROOKHAVEN who made a will on 11 Sept. 1809. It was proved on 5 March 1811. He mentioned wife IRENE, daughters IRENE, MARY, HANNAH, and sons JESSE and THOMAS. His wife was IRENE RAYNOR.
