Psst! We're moving!
Chi Suisui couldn’t help but laugh at her daughter’s train of thought.
The little boy from earlier was a mixed-race child, with sharp features, deep-set eyes, and clear, beautiful blue eyes.
It wasn’t just Zhi Zhi who liked him—Chi Suisui found him handsome too.
“I don’t want green hair,” Zhi Zhi shook her little head. The pretty brother’s hair was black, and she wanted to be like him.
“You can tell your dad about this when we get home,” Chi Suisui pinched her little nose.
Zhi Zhi rolled her eyes.
In the distance, Liang Yan got into a car. She didn’t see his parents—did the pretty brother always go to school alone?
Zhi Zhi thought about it for a long time, but her little brain couldn’t figure out many things.
Once in the car, she said, “I thought Daddy would come to pick me up.”
Chi Suisui tidied her disheveled clothes and replied, “Your dad is busy at the company.”
“What’s he busy with?” Zhi Zhi asked.
“Busy earning money for Zhi Zhi,” Chi Suisui said.
Zhi Zhi laughed loudly. “No, he’s earning money for Mommy!”
She leaned over and kissed Chi Suisui on the cheek, then bent down to play with her little toy—a plush doll.
Chi Suisui found children’s innocent words adorable. Their thoughts were always on a different wavelength from adults.
Her own daughter’s random remarks were especially endearing.
No wonder Song Miaoli wanted to steal her so much.
The toddler class in kindergarten didn’t have much of a curriculum—it was mostly about teachers helping kids make friends, teaching them to speak, and playing small games.
After all, most two- or three-year-olds weren’t very independent yet.
Zhi Zhi was relatively advanced—she rarely cried and was mischievous instead. She stayed in the older class for a long time without causing trouble.
Of course, Chi Suisui knew it had something to do with Liang Yan.
It was normal for children to like beautiful things or people, and she wouldn’t interfere too much at such a young age.
Her phone still had messages from her friends.
Song Miaoli: [Our Zhi Zhi has already become famous worldwide on her first day of school.]
Su Mian: [No wonder it’s Zhi Zhi.]
Song Miaoli: [Sui, come and report the latest developments to her godmothers.]
Chi Suisui had also seen the news online.
By morning, the company had removed related trending topics, though some news couldn’t be deleted, and people were still discussing it.
Since Zhi Zhi’s face wasn’t revealed, Chi Suisui could tolerate it.
She replied: [Zhi Zhi spent the day in the older class.]
Song Miaoli: [Did our Zhi Zhi skip grades in kindergarten?]
Song Miaoli: [Genius baby mom.]
Song Miaoli’s last message made Su Mian send a string of “hahaha,” then ask: [Did Zhi Zhi really skip grades?]
Chi Suisui: [No, she took a liking to a little boy and refused to leave his class. The teacher couldn’t even pull her away—typical appearance-obsessed behavior.]
This revelation shocked the two new godmothers.
Though Zhi Zhi often loved to show off her beauty, it was normal since she was a girl.
But not even three years old yet, she was already striving for beauty—was dating starting from childhood now?
Song Miaoli: [So, was that boy good-looking?]
Su Mian: [If he’s gorgeous, I support Zhi Bao!!]
Chi Suisui replied with “handsome” and described Liang Yan’s appearance, as well as Zhi Zhi’s classic line about “dyeing it green.”
Even in text form, his description exuded charm.
Then the group chat exploded.
Song Miaoli, an expert in appearance obsession who had turned her obsession into marriage, was very experienced in this area.
She typed furiously: [Zhi Bao, charge ahead!!]
Song Miaoli: [No wonder she’s my goddaughter—her taste is impeccable.]
Su Mian: [I’m rooting for Zhi Zhi this time. Such an opportunity can’t be missed. There won’t be many handsome men left when she grows up.]
Song Miaoli promptly changed the group name to “Zhi Bao’s Love and Friendship Group.”
Chi Suisui: […]
Was this her daughter or theirs?

When they returned home, the sunset had just disappeared.
The auntie had already prepared dinner. After Chi Suisui helped Zhi Zhi change clothes and went downstairs, He Xingwang came back.
“Daddy.”
Zhi Zhi called out and ran over with her little legs.
He Xingwang picked her up and received several kisses. He looked at Chi Suisui, “How was she at school today?”
Chi Suisui smiled faintly, “Ask her yourself.”
Hearing this, He Xingwang sensed something was off.
He looked down at his daughter, whose chubby face was filled with innocence, making his heart flutter. “How did you feel on your first day of school?”
Zhi Zhi shouted loudly, “Zhi Bao loves going to school so much.”
Of course, her favorite part was the pretty brother in kindergarten.
He Xingwang asked, “What did the teacher teach today?”
Zhi Zhi’s eyes darted around, and after a while, she stammered, “Zhi Bao doesn’t remember.”
“Can’t remember, or didn’t listen at all?”
Chi Suisui, sitting on the couch, cut straight to the point.
He Xingwang walked over, raising an eyebrow. “Did she cause trouble in class?”
“No, she ran off to the older class and stayed there all day,” Chi Suisui glanced at Zhi Zhi, who was lowering her head. “The teacher couldn’t even pull her away.”
“Is that true, Zhi Zhi?” He Xingwang asked.
His voice unconsciously softened when speaking to his daughter, his already deep voice becoming even more pleasant.
Zhi Zhi fidgeted with her fingers and nodded.
Chi Suisui added, “There’s a mixed-race boy in the older class. She thought he was handsome, sat next to him, and even said she wanted to dye her eyes green.”
“…”
He Xingwang almost thought he’d heard wrong.
And how did she even know about dyeing?
Zhi Zhi felt even guiltier and changed the subject. “Zhi Bao is hungry and wants to eat.”
Unmoved, He Xingwang frowned and directly asked, “So you went to the older class just to see a handsome boy?”
His instructions before leaving were completely ignored.
His daughter, cute and lovely, had him imagining other boys approaching her, but he never expected Zhi Zhi to be the one initiating contact.
Children were sensitive to adults’ emotions. The next moment, Zhi Zhi hugged He Xingwang’s neck and cooed, “Zhi Bao doesn’t remember anything.”
“…”
He Xingwang pulled her arms away. “No pouting.”
Chi Suisui interjected, “Scold her one more time, and she’ll ignore you tonight.”
He Xingwang glanced at her, noticing the lingering seductive look in the corner of her eye.
Upon hearing this, Zhi Zhi quickly leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Zhi Bao won’t ignore Daddy.”
She was very good at pleasing her parents.
Of course, with that face of hers, anyone would melt.
Dinner was eaten by Zhi Zhi herself. She was quite independent, with a custom-made chair, small bowl, and spoon at home.
Before bed, Chi Suisui gave Zhi Zhi a bath.
Zhi Zhi loved playing with water, and with her particularly good mood today, she didn’t stop splashing with both hands during the bath.
Chi Suisui’s face got splashed with water. “He Zhiwei.”
Hearing her full name, Zhi Zhi looked up at her.
Chi Suisui couldn’t stay mad looking at that face, which resembled a young He Xingwang. While He Xingwang used to be expressionless, Zhi Zhi was more endearing.
“He Xingwang, handle your daughter.”
“What’s wrong?” He Xingwang asked.
“She’s restless during baths,” Chi Suisui complained, then lowered her head. “Zhi Zhi, didn’t you go a bit too far today?”
“Mommy.” Zhi Zhi crossed her lotus-root-like arms over her little belly and asked, “Isn’t Zhi Bao cute?”
Her two little buns on top of her head bounced around.
Chi Suisui tapped her forehead. “Little cutie.”
Zhi Zhi covered her forehead and blinked.
After finishing the bath, Chi Suisui, feeling relieved, let her go. The little one jumped onto the bed as soon as she left the bathroom.
“Zhi Zhi.” He Xingwang sat on the edge of the bed, looked her in the eye, and slowly said, “I’ve told you before not to upset Mommy.”
Zhi Zhi pouted. “Mommy called me a cutie.”
Chi Suisui saw traces of him in her face, while he saw traces of Chi Suisui in their daughter.
Their personalities were very similar to Chi Suisui’s when she was young.
Mother and daughter had him completely wrapped around their fingers.
“A cutie should behave.” He Xingwang kissed her cheek. Zhi Zhi smelled of body wash mixed with a hint of milkiness—it was intoxicating.
Zhi Zhi grinned shyly and burrowed into the covers, only to pop out again a while later, revealing just her eyes.
He Xingwang chuckled softly.
By the time he and Chi Suisui were ready to sleep, Zhi Zhi was already asleep in the middle of the bed, her mouth slightly open, lying sideways like she was about to fly.
“Let her sleep here tonight?” Chi Suisui raised an eyebrow.
“No.” He Xingwang’s tone was calm as he woke his daughter.
Zhi Zhi squinted, opening one eye slightly and rolling over, mumbling, “What is it? Don’t disturb Zhi Bao’s sleep.”
Chi Suisui watched the scene unfold with amusement.
He Xingwang pursed his lips and said, “Zhi Zhi, go back to your room.”
Zhi Zhi lightly slapped his face, still half-asleep, and whispered, “What’s the benefit of going back to sleep? Will I get a little brother?”
“He Xingwang, what do you say?” Chi Suisui smirked.
“Who told you that?” He Xingwang asked sternly.
“I don’t remember.” Zhi Zhi sighed dramatically, her tiny face filled with longing. “Kiss me, and I’ll go back.”
He Xingwang kissed her.
Zhi Zhi rolled over, moving her face closer to Chi Suisui. “Mommy too.”
Chi Suisui and He Xingwang each kissed her once, and she finally became satisfied, wobbling off with the auntie to her own room.
Once she left, the room fell silent.
He Xingwang turned off the lights, leaving only the dim nightlight on, adding a hazy atmosphere that blurred Chi Suisui’s silhouette.
Chi Suisui loosened her hair tie, letting her long hair cascade down like seaweed. Her movements accentuated her perfect curves.
His Adam’s apple bobbed twice.
So Chi Suisui didn’t have much preparation time before diving into a blissful night. By the time she came to, she was already panting heavily.
In her daze, she heard He Xingwang say, “Zhi Zhi wants a little brother.”
Chi Suisui lifted her eyelids slightly, meeting He Xingwang’s dark gaze. “Does she want it, or do you?”
She saw the corner of He Xingwang’s lips curl upward.

Zhi Zhi slept soundly until morning, and the new day began with her being a well-behaved child again.
With the pretty brother at school, she was highly motivated to attend. And as for the matter of wanting a little brother the previous night, she had completely forgotten about it.
“Why hasn’t Mommy gotten up yet?” Zhi Zhi looked toward the staircase.
“Mommy was too tired last night,” He Xingwang said casually.
“Did Mommy secretly stay up late last night?” Zhi Zhi cupped her face. “That’s not good, really not good.”
Beauty-conscious Zhi Zhi disapproved of such behavior.
He Xingwang brought her a glass of warm milk and calmly said, “Alright, I’ll tell Mommy for you.”
Zhi Zhi gulped down the milk, slowly climbed upstairs, tiptoed to open the door, and leaned over the bed to give Chi Suisui a morning kiss.
“Mommy, good morning.”
“Morning.”
Unfortunately, Chi Suisui didn’t even open her eyes and ended up being kissed instead.
Zhi Zhi, having successfully stolen a kiss, was delighted and happily trotted downstairs to go to kindergarten with He Xingwang.
Learning from yesterday’s experience, He Xingwang reminded the teacher before leaving not to let Zhi Zhi run around, especially to the older class.
The teacher nodded. “Understood.”
However, Zhi Zhi was a resourceful child.
If the teacher forbade it, she’d create opportunities for herself. If all else failed, she could always resort to cuteness, pouting, or crying—one of her many tricks was bound to succeed.
Thus, she went to the older class again.
The older class was reading in the morning, and Zhi Zhi slipped in through the back door. Liang Yan, being tall, sat in the back row. “Brother Liang Yan.”
Liang Yan turned his head.
Zhi Zhi ran over, bumping into him. His chin was hit by her forehead, and he frowned, reaching up to rub it.
For a moment, Liang Yan didn’t know whether to dwell on her reappearance or the pain from the collision.
“I’ll blow on it for you.” Zhi Zhi clung to him, inhaling deeply and blowing on it. Her breath carried the sweet scent of caramel. “Blow, blow!”
It sounded like a little windmill spinning rapidly.
Liang Yan was utterly speechless and pushed her away. “Stop blowing.”
Zhi Zhi let go. “Then you have to get better soon, okay?”
She obediently sat beside him. Being small and short, she looked even tinier on the little stool, her feet dangling in the air.
Not long after, her attention shifted again, and she leaned over the table to peek at the book Liang Yan had been reading earlier. The characters were familiar.
Today, the pretty brother’s book was in Chinese, no longer the indecipherable pinyin letters—English—from yesterday.
She stole a glance at Liang Yan.
Liang Yan coldly stated, “Your teacher will come soon.”
“The teacher won’t know,” Zhi Zhi’s eyes curved into crescents as she added, “Brother Liang Yan, I forgot to say good morning to you.”
Some classmates noticed the pretty little girl and sneakily glanced over, even contemplating coming over to make friends.
Liang Yan humored her. “Good morning.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, he received a kiss.
“Mommy says good morning requires a morning kiss,” Zhi Zhi blinked her sparkling eyes, casually imparting wisdom. “You have to kiss back—that’s called reciprocity.”
