350* Bake 10-15 minutes.
Measure & mix in 2 c. measure, set aside.
1 1/8 c buckwheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cream in separate bowl (mixer's bowl), until very smooth. The more air you beat in the better.
1/2 c sugar
1 large egg
1/2 c (1 stick) softened butter
Add flour mixture and beat well.
Add and beat well:
1 cup gluten free chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Scoop out on baking sheet by teaspoon or tablespoon. It's a small batch.
When cookies are not doughy but springy on top they are done.
Macaroons are gluten free. And I make brownies using a regular recipe and Substitute sorghum flour.
Betty Crocker makes a gluten free cake mix that is very good.
Buckwheat flour which has no wheat. It is made from seeds and is related to Rhubarb.
