Meat Ball Casserole

Meat Ball Casserole Jan Peterson

1 lb. ground beef

1/2 tsp. salt

3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs (Chopped in Blender)

1 egg

1/4 cup chopped onion

Combine above ingredients - form into small meatballs and brown.

2 cups cooked rice

dash pepper

1 - 8 oz. jar Cheez Whiz

1 pkg. chopped broccoli

1 cup chopped tomato

1/4 tsp. basil

Bread Crumbs tossed with margarine

Combine rice and pepper, place in 1 1/2 qt. casserole, cover with meat balls. Combine Cheez Whiz, broccoli cooked for one minute, tomato and basil. Pour over rice and meat balls. Bake covered at 350 for one hour. Top with remaining cracker crumbs, tossed with margarine. Bake another 15 minutes until brown.
