Mary Ann's Fresh Rhubarb Cake
Mary Ann's Fresh Rhubarb Cake Sharon Benda
Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan. Set oven to 350 degrees.
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
Cream until light and fluffy. Add
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup sour cream (or 1/2 cup milk with 1 teaspoon soda)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 to 2 cups finely cut rhubarb. Add last and mix well.
Topping:
1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Sprinkle on top and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn out of metal plan. (This is a friend of Sharon's).
