Christ Comes Soon - Gospel of Matthew - Chapter 24

Christ Comes Soon - Gospel of Matthew - Chapter 24

This interpretation of Matthew 24 is not based on new principles, but is based on the base of the same principles in the interpretation of the prophecies which have been used by the Reformers and Adventist pioneers, supplemented by the new things God has deigned us to discover in recent years.

The following principles have been used:

1.The principle of dual fulfillment-Jesus describes what will happen in the last days, and this

already became as a first century model in the destruction of Jerusalem.

2. The principle of double interpretation - literally and spiritually - for example, the word "married"(“giving in a marriage”) literally means "homosexual marriages", and in a spiritual aspect - a covenant with demons-spiritism, as the spiritual meaning is dominating

3. The principle of duality - Jesus speaks of two kingdoms one against another (heaven and earth), two peoples (God and Satan), two men in the field, two women of the mill, two servants (good and evil), two groups of virgins (sensible and unreasonable), sheep and goats, and so on.

4. The principle that if a symbol is used in a text, the whole text is taken in a spiritual sense. For example, in Matthew 24: 17- "roof" is of symbolic significance.

5. The principle that the Bible explains itself. For example, Matthew 24:41 and Isaiah 47: 1,2

1.Prophecy for the destruction of the temple and the end of the world

(Mark 13: 1-31, Luke 21: 5-33)

1. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. - The temple in Jerusalem is a symbol of the spiritual Temple - the Body of Christ - the Church of Jesus Christ. As the temple was destroyed, so every Adventist will be tested and the entire Church will have to withstand the fiery persecutions and trials until the Second Coming of our Savior Jesus Christ.

3. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?-The disciples ask a specific question, when will this be (the destruction of the temple), and what will be the mark of Your coming and the end of the age-events at the end of time that excites the disciples . Usually the answer of Jesus refers of the theologians to the time around 1798 (the end of the sorrow of the 1260s papal authority) or to 1844 (blessed who gets to 1335) or to 1755, 1780 and 1833 - respectively to the Lisbon earthquake, the dark day and starfall or to the First and Second World Wars or to the wars between Israel and the Arab states, etc., but we shall see later that Jesus does not speak of any of these periods, but only of the end time and of all these events, which will happen within one generation (40 years) just before the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Ellen White also states that events from Matthew's 24th chapter lie entirely in the future.

4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.- as the Old Testament prophets often do, the most important event is first reported, though chronologically it is at last, so Christ first reports of false arrivals, to warn us, though at the time they are finally, immediately before Christ to come for the second time on the Earth in glory.

6. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. -the mention of wars and military rumors directs us to our time, when there are almost continual military conflicts in different parts of the world, and mass media-internet, television, radio and newspapers are overwhelming us with messages about these conflicts (physical and spiritual), while in the first century to inform people it took a long time. Here, therefore, Jesus directs our attention again to the last days of human history.

7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: - whether here under the people against the people Jesus refers to the First and Second World Wars or the wars afterwards to this day. The story of the struggle of which two people describes the Bible? These are God and God's people, and Satan and his followers, who forcibly and persecute God's people. The great struggle between the Kingdom of Satan and the Kingdom of Heaven. All conflicts in the last days (literal and spiritual) will be in the context and under the dominant influence of this basic spiritual war - between these two nations and these two kingdoms.

and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows. - besides hunger, sickness, and earthquakes that will become physically on the earth, Jesus warns us most of all about spiritual "hunger and trembling."

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

12. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

When Jesus first came to the earth for four hundred years there was no prophet in Israel because the people and the elders had rejected the prophetic Word of the Lord and had killed his servants the prophets. However, God sent John the Baptist to direct the eyes of God's people to the coming of the Promised Son of God-Jesus Christ. But the Pharisees, the elders and the majority of the people once again rejected the Word and fell into great darkness and spiritual "famine," and after a generation (from 34 to 70) Jerusalem was destroyed. God does not force man if he rejects merciful prophetic warnings The Holy Spirit is withdrawing and man falls into great spiritual darkness no matter how long he has been in the faith and what a post in the church hierarchy he takes.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. 20. Despise not prophesyings.

There will be no hunger for the Word of Jesus Christ in the world, this famine will be inside the Adventist Church, and among those who have rejected the last solemn warnings of the Holy Spirit.

Similarly, under the tremors(tremblings) are understood spiritual disturbances within the Adventist Church - the rejection of Elena White's prophetic writings, the introduction of "new and modern" theological frauds such as the LEC, the "purpose-oriented church" and other marketing secular strategies, and finally the denial of basic principles by God's Word. In the book "The Great Struggle" 32 chapter “The snares of Satan”page 328 Elena White writes the following: "It is impossible to judge the bad consequences of the removal of only one of the boundary stones laid down by God's Word. Very few of those who dare to do so stop to the rejection of only one truth. Most continue to abandon the principle after the principle of truth, until they actually become unbelievers. "

9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:...- one of the first signs of the last time is the attitude towards the true believers - Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Hate, insult, and curse are steps on the road to physical and spiritual murder. True believers will be physically killed, but most of all spiritualy- they will be hated, vilified, undeservedly blamed, despised, mocked and hateful.

Matthew 5:21. Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22. But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

and ye shall be hated by all nations for My Name's sake. -All will unite

(ecumenism) in their hatred to those who uphold the law of God, and above all the fourth commandment, which elevates the name of God as a Creator and Redeemer, and shows Who we should only worship

10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. - "Here Jesus warns us that in the Church will begin betrayals, as some Adventists will not withstand the pressure of Satanic deceit, they will depart from the principles of faith and the Word of God, and will begin to convey their brethren and to hate those who they have previously loved. In this verse, Jesus does not even refer to the world because the expressions "seduce, surrender and hate" cannot be attributed to unbelieving people, but only to Adventist Church people who have accepted and profess the full truth, for in order to be seduced you must have been in the truth, to betray someone you must have been close to him (Judas betrays his Lord and Teacher) to hate you must have loved before.

11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. - Can an atheist be "misled" to become a Buddhist or Orthodox to be "misled" to become a Pentecostal or Catholic- Muslim or a witness to Jehovah-the-Mormon? Moving from one fallacy to another does not change the situation much. The only way anyone to be deceived is to leave the truth in which he was and to turn to the satanic delusions. Therefore, in this verse, Jesus warns us that "many false prophets" will enter the Adventist Church, and the majority of Adventists will accept their false doctrines and will be deceived.

12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. -Again, Jesus speaks of the Adventist Church, because in the world and at present there is a complete lawlessness ("sin is wickedness") and there is no love in the world (do not say that nobody does not do good in the world, on the contrary, many people do good), but we know “ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” (1 John 5: 3). Therefore, Jesus warns us that the majority in the Adventist Church will abandon the keeping the God's law and will hate those who remain in righteousness.

13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. - This verse conclusively proves that the previous verses refer only to the Advent Church. It is not logical for Jesus to claim that people in the world who do not accept God and do not keep his law live in a secular manner and according to their passions, if they stand to the end they will be saved. Only those true believers who, despite the horrible persecutions, resist to the end in love, even to their persecutors, as Jesus resisted, will be saved.

14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. -When interpreted this verse says that at the moment Christianity is commonly spread around the world, leaving several people away and this verse will be fulfilled, but as seen from the verse, but that is not true. The words of Jesus "this gospel of the Kingdom," without any mention of any gospel, raise the question what is this gospel? It is logical to assume that this gospel is the words of verse 13: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Therefore, the true gospel will be preached to the whole world through the teachings and conduct of these Adventists who, despite the horrible persecutions, hatred, blasphemies, threats, etc. will not accept the fictitious human postulates but will only believe in God and will live by faith according to His Eternal Law. Their behavior and life will be an example of the whole world, not that they will all believe, but all will see the truth and will have the opportunity to accept or reject it. This Christianity (Catholicism, Protestantism, Orthodoxy, etc.) that is being distributed is not the complete truth, but only the preparation for it. Only the dissemination of the message of the three angels of Revelation 14 6-13 can be accepted as a true teaching of Christ for the salvation of the world.

15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) - Daniel the prophet speaks of the abomination standing on the wing of the temple, that is, under the wings of the cherubim, there in the holiest place, where the two plates of the covenant with the Ten Commandments are kept. As we know the earthly temple is the body of Christ - the Church of Christ. Thus, Jesus warns us that in the most holy place of His Church in the General Conference, where the Advent Church's teaching is preserved, there will be a retreat

and will begin the preaching of un-biblical teachings that will reject the Sabbath and accept the papal Sunday. This will cause desolation because God withdraws His Holy Spirit from people who do not accept Him as a Creator and Redeemer but accept man and human minds, traditions and authority.

16. Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: - this verse must also be understood in spiritual terms. Judea is the present God's people, the Adventist Church, who keeps God's commandments and has faith in the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. What are the mountains? The mountains of prophecy are God's presence.

Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

It's not about running into the mountains of the earth because there is already such a technique that everyone can be found wherever they are. Jesus tells us with these two verses when we see the apostasy, giving up everything on earth and leaving ourselves fully to God's care, not to decide where we are going to run, but to entrust everything in His hands.

17. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: if this verse is accepted literally, we cannot understand anything about what we have to do, but if we remember who was standing on the roof in Biblical Israel, it's all clear. The guards stood on the roof and told where the troops came from. Thus with this verse, Jesus tells us not to stop the battle with false doctrines, to continue to warn the rest of God's Adventist Church, not to despair and to flee thinking of ourselves.

18. Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. - in the same way we must continue to work for the salvation of the world. Field is the world, we must continue to reap. We must not despair and think that it does not make sense anymore from our mission that everything is over and think of our personal salvation. Until the last, we must labor and serve faith in the position that God has placed us.

19. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! - It is possible for Satan to pursue mothers in these last days, but the main point to which Jesus addresses us with these words is the condition of those who, as apostle Paul, create disciples and support them in their growth-pastors and preachers. Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you. There will be no opportunity for biblical courses, Sabbath lessons. These people will be the main goal of Satan and his evil followers

20. But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: - the Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement, Judgment Day) is at the beginning of winter, the Investigative Court is over, it is too late to run to God, because everyone is sealed in this state where he is at the end of the Court.

21. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. - this is the time of the most terrible deceit in the history of the Earth, the false arrivals.

22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. -Hence here Jesus speaks of the last days, these words cannot relate to any other time in the history of The Earth.

23. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not.

24. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Satan appears in the image of Christ and does such deceit, that there is a danger to the sealed too.

25. Behold, I have told you before.

26. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not. - the repetition is a sign of the strongest possible warning that not to go under any circumstances where these scams are. At the coming of Christ, He will not step on Earth (in the wilderness), it will not be secret (the inner rooms)

27. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. - the corpse (the carrion) the people who have taken the Satanic Sunday and all the abominations of the last time but have rejected the law of God, have rejected the Holy Spirit and are spiritually dead. They are attracted to false arrivals. The eagles (the vultures, the unclean birds) are Satan and the demons (spiritism), the beast (the UN-based papacy, the antichrist), the false prophet (the US acting through the UN, the fallen protestantism), the ten zones (the ten kings of Rev. 17:11). They will go to the carrion, so Jesus warns us not to go to them.

29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: - full spiritual darkness will cover the earth, neither the word of God, nor the human wisdom, nor any human authority will influence those people who have rejected the Holy Spirit. People will regard the faithful followers of Christ as Satanic representatives, the demons of angels, and Satan for Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5: 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. - some will be weeping with joy and others with terrible anguish.

31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh: - the readiness of the people of God to bear fruit-repentance, sanctification by faith and acceptance of the Holy Spirit in full measure.

33. So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.

34. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. - All these events will be within one generation (40 years)

35. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ (Mark 13: 32-37, Luke 17: 26-30, 34-36)

But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37. But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. -what is the mark of the Coming, because "day and hour" is unknown, Jesus pointed to a clear "sign" - "they ate and drank, marrying and giving in a marriage" if these were normal actions as they were done through all times, what sign can that be? So there was something extraordinary, something that was not at any other time in the history of the Earth.

38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, - literally eating, overeating, enriching, drinking- entertaining, drugs, marriage-polygamy, adultery and giving in a marriage-homosexual marriages. In the spiritual sense-eating-idolatry, drinking-false teachings, marriage-covenant with false churches, spiritual fornication and giving in a marriage-covenant with demons, spiritism,- zodiacs, horoscopes, divination, psychic, spells, aliens-spiritism, false spitting of the Holy Spirit - "fire from heaven" (Rev. 13) until the day that Noe entered into the ark, , - fully obey God.

39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

The field is the world one has reaped righteousness, the other has reaped iniquity

Job 4: 8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

41. Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Women are churches, the one was grinding truth, the other a delusion.

Isaiah 47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

2. Take the millstones, and grind meal

42. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? - servants who have servants, ie pastors. Food in time - the necessary food (quality, quantity) in time. preparation for the Advent, the present truth, the three angels’ messages.

46. Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;- Why is this servant called evil? How does he know that his Lord is delayed, since the behavior of the other servant means that the Lord will come soon? This "evil" (poor, lawless, sinful, disobedient) servant has questioned in the words of his Lord who told him he would come soon. Satan has inspired these thoughts "in the heart," ie, externally admits that there will be a Second Coming, but inwardly doubts. Anyone who deny inwardly and does not believe that "Christ will come soon" is under the influence of Satan. Let's remember Lot's sons in low, "Lot was slow" and the Lot’s woman, who looked back.

49. And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants,- accusations of loyal employees

and to eat and drink with the drunken;- idolatry and false teachings.

50. The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51. And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.- Ellen White says the grief of the lost will be so terrible that it can not be described.

Revelation 11:18. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
