Strawberry Cheesecake Sliders are a fun and delicious dessert that combines the creamy richness of cheesecake with sweet strawberry filling, all layered inside soft, fluffy Hawaiian rolls. Ingredients:
5 ounces cream cheese, softened
½ cup confectioners' sugar
1 large egg
1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
1 (21-ounce) can strawberry pie filling
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Add the egg and beat until light and fluffy.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half back into the packaging and set it on a baking sheet.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.
Spoon the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cream cheese layer.
Place the top half of the rolls over the strawberry filling.
Brush the melted butter over the top of the rolls.
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes, until the tops are toasted and golden.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
