Cream Cheese Squares are a rich and creamy dessert made with soft cream cheese, cinnamon, and flaky crescent roll dough. They’re a simple, delicious treat perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1¼ cups white sugar, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread this mixture over the crescent roll layer in the pan.
Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place the dough over the cream cheese mixture. Do not press down.
Pour the melted butter over the entire pan.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining ¼ cup of sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the top.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Allow to cool, then cut into squares and enjoy!
