Maple Salmon is a delicious dish that blends the natural sweetness of maple syrup with the savory depth of soy sauce and garlic. The result is a tender, flavorful salmon that's perfect for any occasion, from a quick weeknight dinner to a special gathering.
Ingredients:
¼ cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound salmon fillets (approximately 4 fillets)
Directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes, turning the salmon halfway through.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Remove the salmon from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place it in a baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
