A Wizard's Mark spell places the spell caster's personal rune on one surface.
In addition to the caster's rune/sigil, the caster can add up to 6 additional characters or symbols.
The runes can be made invisible.
If viewed with a detection spell or effect, the rune(s) will glow and can be seen clearly by the caster of the detection spell.
The rune can be inscribed on any solid surface including a creature's skin.
The caster must have access to the (immobile) surface for the entire casting time to inscribe the surface.
The runes may appear etched or colored.
Material Components. A pinch of diamond dust. If the mark is to be colored, pigments must be on hand. The component is consumed in the casting of the spell. If the mark is to be made invisible, a stylus of some sort must be used (this will not be consumed). Cost/Scarcity. 50 g.p./Rare.
Known Substitutions. None.
