This spell creates an invisible sensor that flies, allowing the caster to see through it.
When the spell is cast, a flying, invisible sensor appears that allows the caster to see through it. The caster must concentrate to see through and direct the sensor. If the caster ceases to concentrate, the sensor remains where it was until the duration expires.
The sensor can travel at 30-ft. per round and has vision in brightly lit areas out to 60-ft. In areas of darkness, the sensor grants infravision out to 10-ft. The sensor can fly up or down without loss (or increase) in speed.
The sensor can slow to a speed of 10-ft. per round which gives the caster the ability to scan (as if they possessed the keen senses ability) or stop and (visually) search an area (taking one round).
The sensor can pass through cracks or holes of a minimum of 1/2-inch in diameter (thus, it can pass under most normal doors).
Any damage will destroy the sensor (1 hp) and (while being directed) it has a natural AC 0 (but is also invisible). The sensor's movment while flying is totally silent. Depending on circumstances (per the GM), the sensor may make noise when moving through very small spaces.
Materials Components. A bit of bat fur. The component is consumed in the casting of the spell. Cost/Scarcity. 1 s.p./Uncommon.
Known Substitutions. None.
